Director of Outreach Divison
Evangelist Genikwa R. Williams is a licensed minister of the Gospel at Faith Deliverance Worship Center, Inc. (FDWC). She gave her life to Christ at the age of 10 after a Sunday school movie convinced her that she needed Jesus to forgive her of her sins and save her soul. At age 27, she reaffirmed her commitment to serving Christ.
Since joining FDWC in November 2007, she has served in various capacities, including: serving as director of the Voices of Faith choir and evangelism ministry coordinator; preaching; teaching Sunday school, vacation Bible school, and evangelism training classes; supporting the communications and marketing efforts of the church; conducting worship services; leading praise and worship; and supporting the hospitality ministry. Currently, she serves as an officer on the church’s Executive Board and as Director of the Outreach Division, which oversees several ministries.
A seasoned communications professional, Evangelist Williams has been an award-winning newspaper reporter, a public relations specialist and communications manager, and the owner of a boutique public relations and marketing communications firm. She is also an adjunct professor and was formerly a radio personality and talk show host. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Delaware, a master's degree in communication and information studies from Rutgers University, and is currently completing the Master of Divinity program at Palmer Theological Seminary.
Evangelist Williams is the founder and visionary of the Burlington Area Evangelistic Association, a non-denominational, Christian ministry formed in spring 2015 in the City of Burlington, NJ, to win lost souls to Christ and bring about citywide revival through prayer and evangelism. She has also served as both chairperson and publicity director of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life® event planning committee and is currently a member of the Burlington County Domestic Violence Response Team, which advocates for victims of domestic violence in times of crisis.
Evangelist Williams believes that God loves unconditionally and at all times—no matter the depth of our sin. This sentiment is best expressed in one of her favorite passages of Scripture:
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”— Romans 8:38-39: 38 KJV.
