What We Believe
- The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
- That there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father,
God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 5:23,
and 1 John 5:7-8).
- In the deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 1:1-14 In the gospel
of Jesus Christ (His: virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious sufferings,
atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father,
and His personal future return to this earth, having power and honor to rule
over the nations in His glorified visible body). 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans
1:1-4
- That mankind was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby
incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death which is separation
from God; and because of that, all human beings are born with a sinful nature
and everyone who will repent of his or her sins will be forgiven and receive
eternal life through Christ. Genesis 1:26-28, Romans 3:23 & 6:23
- That the only means of being cleansed from sin is by the blood of Jesus
Christ, through repentance and faith in the redemptive work of Christ on the
cross. 1 John 1:7 & 9
- That regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal
salvation.
- In divine healing in answer to the prayer of faith. James 5:13-18
- That the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to
believers who ask for Him.
- In the gifts of the Holy Spirit that were given to the church for edification,
exhortation, and comfort, and in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit
who enables the Christian to live a Holy life. 1 Corinthians 12:4-31, 14:1-40.
- In the resurrection of both the saved (to everlasting life), and the lost
(to everlasting damnation). John 5:24-29
